New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Urban Company, the app that connects households to plumbers, beauticians, and appliance technicians at the tap of a finger, is preparing to enter the stock market with a Rs.1,900 crore initial public offering (IPO). The issue, which opens Wednesday and closes Friday, is priced between Rs.98 and Rs.103 per share. It includes a Rs.472 crore fresh issue and a Rs.1,428 crore offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Proceeds from the fresh issue are earmarked for technology and cloud infrastructure ( Rs.190 crore), marketing ( Rs.90 crore), and lease payments ( Rs.75 crore).
