New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Days after US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday (local time) directing the US government to rename Lake Ontario "Lake America," Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded with a billboard-sized message.

Ford shared a video on his social media account on Saturday (local time) and wrote, "It's Lake Ontario, now and always." Ford, who was seen sporting a Team Canada soccer jersey, unveiled the sign near Grimsby, Ontario, and posed for photographs. According to AP, the 24-by-12-foot (7.3-by-3.6-metre) sign is mounted on 6-foot (1.8-metre) legs, placing its top roughly 18 feet (5.5 metres) above the ground, or about two storeys high.
