New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- Pop icon Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce announced that they are engaged to be married through social media post on Tuesday

In a joint Instagram post, the couple wrote: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," along with photos showing the Kansas City Chiefs player proposing to Swift.

Photos showed the American couple in a garden of pink and white flowers. In one shot, Kelce is seen down on one knee looking at Swift, while another shows a sparkling ring on her left hand. The post was set to a clip of Swift's track "So High School."
