New Delhi, March 24 -- Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi for a routine medical check-up, according to news reports which have cited party sources.

The Congress party sources as per the reports said the hospitalisation is linked to respiratory issues and clarified that there is no immediate cause for concern. Her condition is reported to be stable.

Her children, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, have visited her at the hospital.

The Rajya Sabha MP had earlier been admitted to the same hospital in January this year due to respiratory discomfort.
