Smoke detected on IndiGo Chennai-Bengaluru flight before take-off, passengers evacuated
New Delhi, May 26 -- An IndiGo flight bound for Chennai from Bengaluru was evacuated on Tuesday after smoke was detected inside the aircraft while it was taxiing towards the runway for take-off. The incident involved flight 6E 6017, prompting an immediate evacuation as a precautionary measure.
According to the airline, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated and taken back to the terminal.
