New Delhi, April 11 -- March 2026 will be remembered in the history of the Indian financial markets.

During the month, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) offloaded around Rs.60,000 crore worth of financial sector stocks, triggering a sharp correction in the Bank Nifty.

That's just the selling in the financial sector.in one month.

But if you look at the overall trend, FIIs pulled out more than Rs.1.12 trillion from Indian equities, making it one of the sharpest monthly outflows in recent years.
