New Delhi, April 6 -- The Indian stock market is likely to remain volatile on Monday as investor sentiment remains weak on rising crude oil prices amid the escalating US-Iran war in the Middle East.

In the previous session, the Indian stock market staged a solid recovery from day's low and ended higher, with the benchmark Nifty 50 closing above 22,700 level.

The Sensex ended 185.23 points, or 0.25%, higher at 73,319.55, while the Nifty 50 settled up 33.70 points, or 0.15%, at 22,713.10.

On the Nifty options front, Chandan Taparia, Head Derivatives & Technicals, Wealth Management, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd said that the maximum Call Open Interest (OI) is at 24,000 then 23,000 strike, while maximum Put OI is at 22,000 then 22,...
