New Delhi, March 12 -- Indian stock market remains in a bear grip as the market benchmark Sensex crashed 1,000 points in early deals on Thursday, March 12, while the NSE benchmark Nifty 50 fell to near 23,550, falling more than 300 points, or 1.3%.

The Sensex has crashed over 3,000 points in just four sessions of this week.
