New Delhi, Sept. 26 -- Russia is likely to intensify its hybrid campaign against Western countries and NATO in the coming months, Denmark's Defence Intelligence Service said in a new threat assessment, warning of a "low but growing risk" of a limited Russian military attack on one or more NATO countries bordering Russia.

The assessment, released on Thursday (September 24), as reported by Reuters, said Moscow could carry out more frequent attacks against the West, potentially with greater consequences for the countries targeted than in the past. However, the Danish service did not assess a full-scale Russian invasion of a NATO country as likely.
