New Delhi, May 11 -- Immanuel Kant, born in Konigsberg, Prussia, in 1724, became one of the central philosophers of the Enlightenment and one of the most influential thinkers in Western philosophy. He spent most of his life in Konigsberg, teaching and writing on reason, ethics, knowledge, judgement, and human freedom. His major works include Critique of Pure Reason, Critique of Practical Reason, and Critique of Judgment, which shaped modern debates on knowledge, morality, and aesthetics.
