New Delhi, Nov. 2 -- Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) reported consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs.3,866 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, an 8% increase over the same quarter last year. Consolidated total income grew 3% year on year to Rs.12,055 crore, according to the company's results for the second quarter of financial year 2026-27.

The Maharatna company, which operates under the Union ministry of power, reported standalone PAT of Rs.3,819 crore and standalone total income of Rs.11,900 crore for the quarter. The consolidated figures were Rs.3,866 crore in PAT and Rs.12,055 crore in total income.
