New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lauded India's 7.8 per cent real gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the first quarter of FY27, describing it as a reflection of the "collective strength" of the countrymen. He also took a swipe at the Opposition, accusing it of "spreading despair" in the country.
In a video message posted on X, PM Modi congratulated the people for their hard work, stating that India's economic growth came amid global challenges, including wars, crises and disrupted supply chains.
