New Delhi, Oct. 13 -- The government has yet to announce a release date for the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. As of 13 October, the scheme's official website lists the 23rd instalment, released on 20 June.

Under PM-Kisan, eligible farmer families receive Rs.6,000 annually in three equal instalments of Rs.2,000, generally paid every four months, according to Press Information Bureau (PIB) notification. The next instalment could arrive during the August-November payment cycle, but the government has not confirmed a date. Farmers should therefore treat expectations of an October payout as tentative.
