New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- On September 15, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) demanded the immediate removal of match referee Andy Pycroft from the Asia Cup 2025. The PCB alleged that he had violated the ICC code of conduct. After the IND vs PAK match, the Indian players did not shake hands with the Pakistan team. Pycroft did not take action against India, PCB alleged.

This was the first time India and Pakistan faced each other on a cricket field since the Pahalgam attack and India's Operation Sindoor in May.
