New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- The Indian stock market benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are expected to open flat-to-positive on Monday, 24 August, amid mixed global cues.

The Gift Nifty trends also indicated a green start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading at around 24,352, a 60-point premium to the Nifty futures' previous close.

The domestic equity indices ended flat in the previous session, with the benchmark Nifty 50 closing below 24,300 level.

The Sensex gained 3.11 points, or 0.00%, to close at 77,540.83, while the Nifty 50 settled 20.15 points, or 0.08%, lower at 24,252.
