New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- Nestle India has rejected a recent media report about alleged legal action by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) over its baby formula products, calling the report "factually incorrect".

Nestle issued the clarification on September 18, 2026, after receiving a query from the stock exchanges regarding a news report published on Moneycontrol the same day. Nestle India said its products, including NAN Excella Pro and Lactogen Pro, comply with applicable regulations.
