New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Nepal is currently experiencing political unrest. After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's government banned 26 social media apps, including Instagram and Facebook, Gen Z protestors took to the streets. The demonstrations soon turned violent, leaving at least 51 people dead.

Protestors say they want to end years of alleged corruption in the country's governance. With Oli gone and little faith in other political leaders, Nepal's youth are at a crossroads, seeking a new leader. Many have turned to the online platform Discord to organise their movement.
