Mumbai, Oct. 9 -- Airlines operating out of Mumbai want the airport operator to share independent structural-safety reports on Terminal 1 (T1), clarify the status of planned capacity expansion at Terminal 2 (T2), and explain whether alternatives were considered before proposing to shift several international flights to a second airport about 50 km from the city airport, ahead of a stakeholder meeting scheduled for 13 October.
