New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- Shares of Microsoft popped 4% on Friday, 25 September, reaching $517.48 on Nasdaq after the software giant unveiled its biggest Copilot overhaul, as the company seeks to transform its AI assistant into a one-stop shop for office workers.

The rally gave a big boost to the S&P 500 and puts Microsoft on track for its first weekly gain in four weeks. Microsoft is racing to expand Copilot beyond its chat-based roots to boost adoption as it competes with AI chatbots such as ChatGPT and Claude.
