LIVE, Aug. 15 -- At least six people were killed on Friday, after the roof of Dargah Sharif Patte Shah, located behind the Humayun's Tomb in Delhi's Nizamuddin area collapsed, officials said. Rescue operations are currently underway.

A total of 10 people were pulled from mounds of debris and were taken to various hospitals including AIIMS Trauma Centre and LNJP Hospital, out of which five people at the AIIMS Trauma Centre were pronounced dead, said DCP South East.

One of the victims admitted at LNJP is in critical condition.

District Magistrate South-East Delhi, Dr. Sravan Bagaria said the wall collapse is a "matter of investigation and action will be taken if someone was living illegally" in the ASI site.
