New Delhi, July 17 -- Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) organised the victory parade to Chinnaswamy Stadium "unilaterally" and "without seeking consultation or permission" from the city police, the Karnataka government has said in its report to the High Court, which has now been made public.

The Karnataka High Court has ordered the state government to publicly disclose its status report on the stampede incident outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium that occurred during the celebrations of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team's maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title win.
