New Delhi, May 26 -- K-pop band BTS won the 'Artist of the Year' award on Monday at the American Music Awards, the annual honours determined by fan votes.

They opened the show, dressed in all-black outfits and black sunglasses, singing "Hooligan" from the Vegas concert stop on the group's Arirang Tour.
