New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- India will begin their Women's Asia Cup 2026 campaign against Thailand in their Group A match in Dubai on Sunday. India are coming to the continental tournament on the back of a forgettable campaign at the 2026 Women's T20 World Cup, where they were knocked out in the group stage.

The Women in Blue finished third in Group A with six points from five matches. They managed to beat Pakistan, Netherlands and Bangladesh, while suffering defeats to South Africa and eventual champions Australia.

For the Women's Asia Cup 2026 tournament too, India are in Group A, with Pakistan and Hong Kong, China being the other two teams. Group B comprises of defending champions Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates....
