New Delhi, June 15 -- India's multi-billion-dollar IT services and BPO industry could face a major disruption from artificial intelligence unless companies rapidly adapt their business models, according to Silicon Valley venture capitalist and early-stage investor in OpenAI-the world's most valuable AI startup, Vinod Khosla.

Speaking on the SparX podcast, Khosla said India's IT services and business process outsourcing sectors, which have long been a major source of foreign income for the country, are at risk of being displaced by AI-driven technologies.
