New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- India and China have agreed to take a series of measures aimed at strengthening bilateral engagement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Tuesday. The two sides committed to resuming direct flight connectivity between the Chinese mainland and India at the earliest opportunity, while also reviving various dialogue mechanisms and exchanges to enhance cooperation and address mutual concerns. In addition, both countries pledged to facilitate trade and investment flows through concrete steps, signalling a calibrated effort to stabilise ties and expand economic interaction.
