New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- Former India all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin is far from happy with India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant's performance in the recently concluded Test series against Sri Lanka.

Rishabh Pant aggregated 168 runs from three innings at an average of 56 with two half-centuries to his name. In the second Test in Colombo, Pant retired hurt while not out on three after sustaining a wrist injury. He later returned to bat and scored 63 runs from 89 deliveries, hitting six fours and two sixes.

Ashwin compared Pant's performance with that of Sri Lanka's Sonal Dinusha, who finished as the highest run-getter of the Test series with 420 runs from four innings, with three centuries to his name.
