New Delhi, July 30 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers for Hyderabad over the next 24 hours, while issuing heavy rainfall alerts for several districts across Telangana.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, the city is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky, with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 28degC and 22degC, respectively.

The IMD has issued an orange warning for Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy, where heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places on Thursday.
