Hyderabad-based NALSAR students urge university not to invite CJI Surya Kant as convocation chief guest. Here's why
New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- A section of students at Hyderabad-based NALSAR University of Law reportedly opposed any proposal to invite Chief Justice of India Surya Kant as the chief guest for the varsity's convocation.
Some students in the 2026 batch at the university wrote to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and professors of the institution, expressing their concerns about the proposal to invite CJI Surya Kant as the chief guest for the upcoming convocation, news agency PTI reported.
