New Delhi, April 1 -- Senior Supreme Court advocate and noted human rights campaigner H S Phoolka formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday, signalling a renewed political chapter after years devoted primarily to legal advocacy.

The induction took place in the national capital in the presence of senior party figures, including Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa and BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, among others.
