New Delhi, June 1 -- HDFC Bank share price turned green in Monday's trading session, after falling for three sessions straight last week. The banking stock was trading 0.13% higher on NSE.

The stock opened at Rs.749 apiece today, compared with the previous close of Rs.744.55 on Friday last week. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs.752.35 on NSE. HDFC Bank shares fell 5% over the last three sessions.

According to a report by The Indian Express, the lender allegedly paid Rs.45 crore to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), with the transactions reportedly booked as marketing expenses to effectively provide higher returns on deposits.
