New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- AM Green Group, owned by Greenko founders Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Kolli, plan to set up a 1 gigawatt data centre in Uttar Pradesh with an investment of about $25 billion, said four people aware of the developments.
The company has signed an agreement with the InvestUP, the investment-focussed agency of the government of Uttar Pradesh. An announcement to this effect will be made shortly.
"AM Green will establish an AI Infrastructure hub in the Greater Noida region in Uttar Pradesh, and the project will be developed in a phased manner," said one of the four people mentioned above.
The MoU was signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the person added.
