New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Gold prices on Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) opened lower on Monday, following losses in the international bullion prices, on stronger dollar and hopes of a US-China trade deal.
MCX gold rate opened 0.77% lower at Rs.1,22,500 per 10 grams as compared to its previous close of Rs.1,23,451 level. MCX silver prices opened 3.09% lower at Rs.1,42,910 per kg against its previous close of 1,47,470 level.
At 9:05 AM, MCX gold price was trading lower by Rs.1,088, or 0.88%, at Rs.1,22,363 per kg, while MCX silver price was down by Rs.1,130, or 0.77%, at Rs.1,46,340 per kg.
