New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- Gold and silver prices in your city on September 16: Gold rates on Tuesday, September 16 breached the Rs.1.10 lakh mark per 10 gram, while silver rates saw a slight uptick amid hopes of a fresh Fed rate cut.

MCX Gold October 3 contracts were standing at Rs.1,10,246 per 10 grams, up 0.06 per cent at the end of the last trading session, while MCX Silver December 5 contracts were priced at Rs.1,29,666 per kilogram.

Gold prices have surged above the Rs.1 lakh mark in the recent times, breaching the Rs.1.10 lakh mark on Tuesday.
