From $1 billion to $25 billion: India's hand, power tools sector eyes global push
New Delhi, Sept. 19 -- India's hand and power tools exports could surge more than 25-fold to over $25 billion by 2035 from around $1 billion currently, as rising manufacturing activity, technology adoption, and stronger local supply chains create opportunities for the sector to expand its global footprint. Industry experts made such a projection during the Tools & Equipment Expo 2026, which began at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 18.
The three-day Tools & Equipment Expo 2026 brought together more than 300 exhibitors, over 2,000 products on display, 150+ new product launches and 8,000+ industry professionals with participation from leading domestic and international brands.
