Four-storey building collapses in Delhi's Seemapuri, several feared trapped
New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- On Wednesday, a residential building in northeast Delhi's Seemapuri area collapsed. Several people are feared trapped inside, prompting a rescue operation by the Delhi Fire Services (DFS).
The incident took place in the afternoon after the front portion of the four-storey building collapsed, as per an officer.
The DFS received a call regarding the collapse at 3.30 pm. Fire tenders have reached the spot.
"Search and riescue operation is ongoing," DFS officer told PTI.
According to the latest development, around five to six people have been rushed to a hospital. The rescue operation is still underway. JCB trucks were spotted at the accident site.
