New Delhi, Oct. 5 -- Mumbai's Ganpati celebrations are synonymous with faith, community and public gatherings. This year, two of the city's festival destinations became the setting for an initiative that brought an important conversation into the celebrations: preventive healthcare.

Eyebetes Foundation, in collaboration with Forus Health, conducted a pilot retinal screening initiative at Siddhivinayak Temple and GSB Ganpati Mandal, exploring how retinal imaging and artificial intelligence could potentially support diabetes risk screening and generate insights associated with HbA1c levels.
