New Delhi, Nov. 2 -- Sunday, 2 November, marks the last day of in-person early voting in New York City and New Jersey, as voters head into important state and local elections. As per the New York City Board of Elections, over 584,000 people have already voted early across the five boroughs. Brooklyn has the highest turnout with almost 190,000 votes. Polls are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 2.

Democratic frontrunner Zohran Mamdani spent the weekend meeting supporters. On Saturday, he appeared with Rev. Al Sharpton at the National Action Network in Harlem. Although Sharpton did not officially endorse him, Mamdani later joined New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has publicly supported his campaign.
