New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- The price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders was increased across cities from October 1. The prices were hiked just ahead of the festive season, and in the backdrop of the West Asia war that has impacted global energy supplies. In Delhi, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder rose by Rs.62.50 to Rs.2,810, according to reports.

Commercial LPG prices were increased by Rs.9.50 per 19-kg cylinder in September, following two consecutive monthly reductions of Rs.192 in August and Rs.183.50 in July. Commercial LPG prices had risen by Rs.1,373 per 19-kg cylinder between February and June, from Rs.1,740.50 to Rs.3,113.50, before falling in July and August.
