New Delhi, Oct. 11 -- Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which runs the DMart retail chain, recorded a 15.4% year-on-year rise in consolidated net revenue to Rs.16,676.3 crore in the July-September quarter, driven by steady growth in its older stores and continued expansion across key cities.
Consolidated net profit rose a muted 3.8% to Rs.684.85 crore in the second quarter of FY26, amid high employee and finance costs.
DMart's staff expenses surged 32% year-on-year to Rs.376.83 crore in the second quarter of FY26, reflecting a persistent challenge for the retailer. Finance costs jumped nearly doubled to Rs.34.96 crore during the quarter.
