New Delhi, June 3 -- Senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar will take oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka, along with 13 ministers approved by the Congress high command today.

The list of ministers has been approved by the leadership ahead of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for 4 pm at Lok Bhavan in Bengaluru, news agencies reported citing Congress sources.

Senior Congress leader G Parameshwar will be Deputy Chief Minister. Parameshwar met Shivakumar at his residence earlier in the day, amid speculation that he may be sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister in the new Cabinet.
