New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- The Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone is reportedly distancing herself from acting, not forever, but for yet another upcoming project. It is believed that she will no longer be associated as an actor with the Hindi remake of The Intern, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan. However, she will be a part of the film as a producer.
According to a report by Midday, Deepika won't be seen acting in the Hindi remake of The Intern, which originally featured Anne Hathaway and Robert DeNiro. She was said to take on Anne's role while Amitabh stepped in to play Robert's character as a retired man after Rishi Kapoor's death in 2020. Rishi was the first choice, reportedly.
