New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Women IAS officers are now at the helm of 12 of Chhattisgarh's 33 districts after the state government carried out an administrative reshuffle on August 18. The latest appointments have placed women officers in charge of Sakti, Kabirdham and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki.

The reshuffle has brought 2016-batch IAS officer Jayshree Jain to Sakti as collector. Tulika Prajapati, who previously headed Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, has been appointed collector of Kabirdham. Tanuja Salam, director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, has been moved to Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki as collector.
