New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Chennai is facing power shutdown for five hours today beginning 9 am to 2 pm as power line maintenance is reportedly being worked on by the authorities at various places on a rotational basis on other days excluding Sundays and public holidays. Power outage warnings have been issued in those respective areas.

The power will restore at 2 pm, according to multiple reports.
