New Delhi, July 17 -- CEAT share price tumbled more than 9% on Friday, 17 July, after the tyre maker reported a 27% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit for the June quarter (Q1 FY27), despite posting healthy revenue growth.

The company reported a standalone net profit of Rs.98 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs.135 crore in the corresponding period last year, according to its exchange filing.

Revenue from operations rose 18% year-on-year to around Rs.4,163 crore, up from Rs.3,521 crore in the year-ago quarter, supported by strong demand across segments.
