New Delhi, Feb. 11 -- Britannia Industries share price surged nearly 5% on Wednesday, February 11, after the Good Day-maker reported a 17% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit of Rs.682 crore for the third quarter of FY26, as compared to the Rs.582.3 crore recorded during the same quarter of the previous financial year.
The rise in the net profit was boosted by stable commodity prices and strong performance in both the biscuits and related categories, said the company in an exchange filing.
The company's operational revenue increased to Rs.4,969.8 crore, compared to Rs.4,592.6 crore from the previous year.
Britannia's overall expenses reached Rs.4,107.59 crore, reflecting a 6% increase in Q3/FY26.
