Buy or sell stocks, May 4 -- A broad-based selloff weighed on the Indian stock market on Thursday, April 30, dragging the benchmark indices - Sensex and Nifty 50 - lower.
The 30-share Sensex fell 583 points, or 0.75%, to settle at 76,913.50, while the Nifty 50 declined 180 points, or 0.74%, to close at 23,997.55. The broader market also came under pressure, with the BSE 150 Midcap and BSE 250 Smallcap indices dropping 1% and 0.50%, respectively.
