Buy or sell stocks, July 16 -- The Indian stock market settled higher on Wednesday, July 15, with benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 ending in positive territory. The broader market also remained upbeat, as the mid- and small-cap indices advanced by up to 0.5%, despite heightened US-Iran tensions and a rise in crude oil prices.

The 30-share Sensex gained 130 points, or 0.17%, to close at 77,185.43, while the Nifty 50 climbed 26 points, or 0.11%, to settle at 24,078.50.
