BHEL OFS, Feb. 11 -- The government is set to sell its stake in PSU firm Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) through an offer for sale (OFS), which opens today, Wednesday, February 11 giving investors a chance to buy shares at a discount.
"Government offers to disinvest 3% equity in the BHEL with an additional 2% as green shoe option," Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) Secretary Arunish Chawla posted on X. The PSU has set the floor price at Rs.254 per share for the OFS.
BHEL shares closed 0.46% higher at Rs.275.90 on Tuesday, February 10, ahead of the government's stake sale.
