BHEL OFS, Feb. 11 -- Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) share price declined over 5% in intra-day deals on Wednesday, Februry 11 after the company announced that the government is will sell its stake in the PSU firm through an offer for sale (OFS), which opens today. This gives investors a chance to buy shares at a discount.
The PSU stock fell as much as 5% to its day's low of Rs.261.40 on BSE after the OFS announcement.
"Government offers to disinvest 3% equity in the BHEL with an additional 2% as green shoe option," Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) Secretary Arunish Chawla posted on X. The PSU has set the floor price at Rs.254 per share for the OFS.
