The clash lived up to the hype of their ongoing rivalry. The World No. 1 Belarusian, had not dropped a set all tournament at Indian Wells, showed remarkable resilience to turn the match around after dropping the opening set. This victory marked Sabalenka's 23rd WTA singles title and her 20th on hard court.
